It’s been rainy a lot lately. Thankfully with large garbage bags to cover my gear, I’ve stayed dry (or rather my gear has…). Also, I didn’t really have a chance to upload photos for a few days. Sorry there’s so many all at once!
As always, despite their lack of watermark, all photos are intellectual property of Robert Hartwig (Copyright Robert Hartwig, 2013). Please respect this. Thanks.
Yummy sushi. :)
And on to TX?!!
Activism represent! :)
Meme a MI, il y a les vignobles!
This was probably one of the biggest (steepest) hills in all of MI. All the way up there were spray-painted words of encouragement.
This little fella was at the base of the hill. S/he clearly didn’t make it too far.
If I had to guess, someone knows more about getting people’s attention than they’re letting on…;p
Warren Dunes host pic.
Harbor County host pic.
All around the campground at Indiana Dunes State Park there was poison ivy immediately off the path. Lets just say it didn’t seem to encourage exploring.
Michigan City, IN – lighthouse
Graffiti on the far side of the lighthouse.
This was the last thing I photo’ed in MI City, IN before getting brutalised by BF storm quality winds, sand, and rain.
I tried to take this out, but it turned out to be mostly under water.
Nope, no problems with the water here…
This is a somewhat typical section of the path I rode for several miles before giving up and going back to the road.
…and its under-belly.
Did anyone else ever notice that Smokey’s expression is less stern and more “guess what I just did? ;)”
At least their sign welcomed me…
Sadly, all their libraries were closed from the previous night’s storm.
My first view of the windy city.
